Women Ready for Work (TANF)

New Hope Women's Center services are offered in conjunction with the Department of Family and Children Services, the Department of Labor and the Department of Health to enable mothers to live independently in their community as valued citizens.

Admissions
Criteria:

• Agree to receive substance abuse services and
• Be involved with Child Protective Services and/or
• Be receiving TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families)
• Priority admission will be given to pregnant/postpartum women who meet the other criteria.
• Limited outpatient admission for women who cannot meet all TANF criteria

Exclusions
Criteria:

• This is a gender-specific program; therefore, men are not admitted
• Primary mental health diagnosis only

• HIV/AIDS/STD Education/Testing
• Residential Treatment for women and their children
• Nurturing and Parenting skills
• GED Preparation
