Mental Health Outpatient Services - Child & Adolescent |
A critical element of services to all customers, but especially children and youth, is the customers' natural environment. For this specific population, effective treatment must include a sense of several key elements: the family system, the customers' interaction with their environment, the supports and stressors in the environment, and the ability to interact with the people and elements in their surroundings. Therefore, services to children and adolescents may be offered beyond the clinic setting and in the places that are familiar to the consumer. |

Admissions
Criteria: |
- Under 18 years of age
- Parent or legal guardian gives consent to receive services
- Mental health symptoms interfere with consumer's ability to function
|
Exclusions
Criteria: |
- Over 18 years of age
- No evidence of mental health symptoms
- Parent or legal guardian does not give consent to receive services

- Screening and assessment
- Diagnostic and assessment
- Crisis intervention (24 hours)
- Case management
- Family, individual, and group counseling
|

- Psychiatric evaluation and treatment
- In-home support services
- Respite services
- Parent support/education group
- School-based services
