Developmental Disability Services

Often working closely with other community agencies, Developmental Services provides a wide range of services and supports. Emphasis is placed on keeping developmentally disabled customers in their community. Priority is also placed on supporting families, allowing them to take care of their disabled family member at home. Services and supports are based on the individual's needs and desires.

Admissions
Criteria:

• Agree to receive services and
• Have a diagnosis of Mental Retardation and
• Have significant symptoms that interfere with ability to function in more than one life area

Exclusions
Criteria:

• Does not have a primary diagnosis of Mental Retardation
• Has a medical or behavioral condition that cannot be managed at this level of care

• Natural Support Services

• Service coordination
• Transportation assistance
• Nursing services
• Therapy services
• Advocacy
